Tony Prado is a 22 year veteran of the competitive DanceSport world. He is a noted emcee on both the NDCA and WDC circuits. He has appeared in many network television productions and has produced dozens of ballroom stage shows generating thousands of dollars in profits for studios. His ability to keep pace with a live event makes for huge audience responses. Tony is trained in all aspects of dance and human movement including ballroom, ballet, cabaret, and pantomime. As a ballroom dancer, he designed and built three dance studios and trained many top dance instructors. He is winner of eleven Top Teacher Awards and fifteen Top Studio Awards. In 2006 he became a United States Cabaret Finalist. In 2007, he became a WDC World Pro-Am Smooth Finalist. He is certified Highly Commended by the United States Terpsichore Association and holds a Championship Adjudicator's License. Currently in Charlotte, Tony continues to host weekly events acting as DJ, announcer, host and producer. He travels across the U.S. and internationally in his work as DanceSport emcee. Tony prides himself for being the first person to emcee a dance competition in both English and Spanish. Being conversant in five languages, Tony considers himself a well-rounded problem solver who is ready to handle any situation with diplomacy and expertise.
