Add the following text after the words “previous 12 months”: “NDCA registered professionals who

Add the words “or resident alien” after the words “Must be a citizen”.

Rule Change #14:
VI.A.5.
The following rule had been in place for many years, but was not in the 2001 rule book. It was reinstated into the current set of rules, effective as soon as it can be incorporated into the NDCA website registration process (the existing rule VI.A.5 was renumbered VI.A.6. and so forth for the remainder of section VI.A.): “All professional registrants (Pro/Am Teachers, Adjudicators and Scrutineers) must re-register with NDCA for the following calendar year no later than December 31st of the current calendar year. Registrants who re-register after December 31st are subject to a 50% surcharge, and will not be allowed to participate or officiate at any NDCA event until they are correctly registered. However, registrations from Pro/Am teachers, adjudicators or scrutineers registering for the first time will be accepted by the registrar anytime in the calendar year, with no surcharge assessed, if processed by the National Registrar in advance of their first participation at an NDCA event.”

Respectively submitted,
Lee Wakefield, Ballroom Director
